Soft Skills in Focus

The Lawyers Circle

Engage and reflect in the Studio

"Soft Skills" in focus

The Lawyers Circle is a new and unique workshop format for lawyers.

Through creative, visual prompts and reflection, it specifically strengthens soft skills: self-awareness, authenticity, focus, communication, and the ability to give and receive feedback—competencies that are becoming increasingly important in the legal profession to build trust and credibility with clients and within teams, and to successfully navigate constant change.

What makes this workshop stand out?

It’s an innovative blend of artistic, hands-on work in the studio and structured reflection. In a stimulating environment, we create space for fresh perspectives and personal growth—practical, effective, and lasting.

This approach encourages the conscious use of both sides of the brain: we balance the logical, verbal, and analytical thinking of the left hemisphere with the visual, intuitive, and holistic thinking of the right. The result is meaningful experiences, deep insights, and a greater openness to change.

What begins in the studio extends far beyond the moment—into everyday legal practice, leadership situations, and ongoing personal development.

The workshop is designed for...

… lawyers who want to further develop their soft skills for everyday professional life.

Through creative practice and reflection, participants gain fresh perspectives and insights—about themselves and their professional role.

Not to become artists, but to be more effective and fulfilled in their legal careers.

Soft Skills we focus on

The workshop focuses on strengthening personal skills such as:

  • Focused work (Deep Work)

  • Self-awareness and authenticity

  • The courage to simplify and prioritize what matters

  • Shifting perspectives

  • Harnessing emotions and intuition

  • Embracing change with a positive mindset

  • Giving and receiving feedback effectively

What to expect

It starts with a horse—and an aha moment.

A stumble that shows us: when we step away from the usual left-brain way of thinking—logical, verbal, analytical—we open ourselves to entirely new possibilities: those of the right hemisphere—visual, intuitive, and nonlinear.

You don’t need to be able to draw or have any artistic or creative talent! The goal isn’t to create a work of art, but to tap into untapped potential that’s already within you. These new experiences are brought to life through creative prompts, reflected on, anchored, and then applied to your professional practice.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No, really: artistic talent or experience is not required to participate! This is definitely not a “painting class,” nor about becoming an artist.

In the workshop, we combine the experience and impact of artistic and creative work in the studio with structured reflection. This allows participants to gain insights into how they can further develop their soft skills for their professional lives.

In an inspiring environment, we create space for new perspectives and personal growth—practical, effective, and lasting.

With the help of visual prompts, we intentionally step out of our comfort zone. We creatively visualize and anchor new experiences—and then reflect on them together. This lays the foundation for individually and sustainably strengthening key soft skills.

Important: The workshop is not about creating a “pretty picture” or showcasing artistic talent. The focus is on the experience of intentionally activating our visually oriented and emotionally driven brain hemisphere—and unlocking its potential for personal and professional growth.
