Creativity is part of all of us and not really a matter of talent or technical skills. It is like a muscle that needs to be trained. If creativity is dulled, it is often the result of fear of not reaching perfection or a lack of self-confidence.

The Intuitive Painting Workshop is about opening the door to one’s potential with a playful approach to abstract painting, enjoying the freedom of being able to let go, being in the moment instead of wanting to control the outcome.

Everything is allowed. Making mistakes is impossible – there is no right or wrong. We work on switching off our negative intellect, let ourselves be guided by the process, trust in our intuition, are spontaneous and overcome the fear of not being „good enough”. It is everything but trying to reach a perfect outcome we defined before we even started. Striving for perfection – we leave that to others.

Enjoying the Beauty of Imperfection, accepting what is happening and learning to deal with it just like in real life releases so much creative energy and boosts self-confidence – provided we try.

We will be working with spatulas, palette knives and the luscious materials of Cold Wax on paper. A list of materials to bring along will be provided. For newcomers, all materials are available at the workshop.
